Supported Living – Your Life, Your Way
Our Supported Living services are all about freedom, flexibility and choice creating the right environment for autistic adults to live as independently as possible, with the support they need and the control they deserve.
Whether someone is taking their first steps towards independent living, or moving from a more structured setting, we provide a range of personalised support that fits around each individual’s life, not the other way around.
From managing a tenancy and budgeting to building friendships and getting involved in the community, our team is there when needed, empowering people to take the lead and thrive on their own terms.
What Does Supported Living Look Like?
Supported Living can take many forms from shared houses with other autistic adults to individual flats and tailored support packages. Whatever the set-up, our focus is always the same: to help each person live the life they choose, with the right support in place to stay safe, well and connected.
We work closely with each individual to understand their goals, routines, and what a good day looks like for them. Our support is flexible, adaptable and built around trust designed to grow and change as people do.
We also work in partnership with families, landlords, social care teams and other professionals to ensure everyone is working together to support long-term success.
Skills for Life, Confidence for the Future
At Autism Unlimited, we see every moment of independence as something worth celebrating from preparing a meal to mastering public transport, or simply having the confidence to make a decision and stick to it.
Our staff are trained in autism best practice and positive behaviour support, providing calm, respectful and consistent care. We support people to build skills, manage anxiety, and gain confidence in their own abilities, always at their pace.
We’re also here to support meaningful connections helping individuals access work, volunteering, education or social opportunities so they can feel part of their local community and live a life that feels rich and full.
Ready When You Are
We know that moving into Supported Living is a big step, and it has to feel right. That’s why we offer gentle transitions, person-led planning, and honest conversations from the very start.
