Middle Path

Tucked away in the peaceful Dorset countryside, Middle Path is a welcoming residential setting designed to feel just like home, with the added reassurance of specialist support every step of the way.

Middle Path is home to four autistic adults, each with their own unique strengths, needs, and routines. We support each person to live the life they choose, with personalised care plans, consistent staffing, and a flexible approach that adapts as people grow and change.

Whether someone enjoys calm, structured days or a more varied routine filled with activity, our team listens, understands and responds in a way that makes every day feel safe and meaningful.

Independence, Confidence, and Belonging

At Middle Path, we believe in supporting people to do as much for themselves as possible, from cooking and shopping to making decisions about how they spend their time. We create space for choice, encourage life skills, and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.

Our staff are trained in autism best practice, communication strategies, and positive behaviour support, building strong, respectful relationships that put each person at the centre of their own story.

We work closely with families and professionals, keeping everyone informed and involved. And because we know that consistency matters, we focus on building a warm, stable team who know our residents well and take real pride in the support they provide.

Life at Middle Path

Residents enjoy a balance of privacy and community, with comfortable bedrooms, shared living spaces, and a garden where people can relax, socialise or just enjoy some fresh air.

Every day is different whether it’s a trip into town, a creative activity at home, or a quiet afternoon spent reading or relaxing, we support people to engage in what matters to them. We also support access to day opportunities, volunteering, and local groups, helping residents feel connected to the wider world.
