What is this course about?
This practical 3-hour course is designed to help Learning & Development professionals, trainers, facilitators, and people leaders create more neuroinclusive learning experiences and move from awareness to action. It focuses on real-world adjustments, accessible learning design, communication approaches, and creating inclusive environments that support neurodivergent learners effectively.
The course will be led by one of our specialist trainers.
Becs has been working as an Inclusion Training Specialist with Autism Unlimited for three years and is an experienced teacher. She brings a wealth of knowledge to building inclusive environments, as well as being an expert by experience, having been diagnosed as autistic in her early 30s. By combining her lived experience with research and practical strategies, Becs designs and delivers impactful learning on neuroinclusion in the workplace.
This course covers:
- Develop your understanding of what effective neuroinclusive learning and development looks like
- Identify and reduce barriers within training, communication, and learning environments
- Apply practical neuroinclusive approaches and strategies to learning design and delivery
- Adapt training methods to support different learning and communication styles
- Reflect on how to embed neuroinclusive practices across your organisation’s learning culture
Course Outcomes
By the end of the course, you will be able to understand what effective neuroinclusive learning looks like in practice, identify and remove common barriers to accessibility and engagement, and apply simple, effective strategies that better support neurodivergent learners.
You’ll also learn how to adapt your facilitation, communication, and delivery styles to different ways of thinking and reflect on how to embed neuroinclusion more consistently across your organisation’s learning and development practices.
The focus is practical - giving you tools, approaches, and real-life examples you can use immediately to create more inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning experiences.
