We are extremely proud to announce a recent accomplishment for our training department in receiving the silver award in the B2B category of the Christchurch Local Business Awards 2025.

Our training team earned this award for the specialised training sessions they provided to Bournemouth Airport. Airport staff received the training to help them understand and support the communication needs of neurodivergent passengers. The results were transformational, not only for passengers but also for the confidence of the airport staff.

Twenty attendees from the special assistance, check-in and security teams participated in a ‘Signalong’ training session as a part of the airport’s growth plan. Signalong is a fantastic communication tool which can be used by support staff to communicate with customers, improve accessibility, and include individuals with a range of different communication styles. The group showed great enthusiasm, fully engaging with the hands-on content over the course of the day.

“I thought the whole thing was just amazing. There was so much interaction and our whole team really enjoyed it. It was really informative and everyone had a great time. We have a lot of passengers that come through the airport that we felt we could really assist. Doing this Signalong course only makes our customer service at the airport even better than it already is. ”
