‘I'm not great with needles. My first covid shot they asked me to wear a facemask and when I said I was exempt they made me wear a visor instead. The only thing worse than covering my mouth is to put a band round my head and put a piece of plastic in front of my face I can't see through properly. Second time I took a mask but only coped on both occasions because they pushed me through quickly.’
Information and honesty. Just tell me what the path through will be. Example, I am being investigated for possible psoriatic arthritis. It has taken 9 months to be informed of what next steps will be if the next set of tests should nothing. If that has been laid out in the first place I wouldn't have been so distressed by the high level of pain or fear I was going to be left to get on with it
