Becoming an autism acceptance employer
Our Autism Acceptance Accreditation supports organisations to learn skills and techniques to adapt environments and communication methods for the autistic community.
It is open to all organisations who wish to understand and are committed to a world where the autistic community is accepted.
The accreditation has 3 levels designed to support you at every step of your autism acceptance journey;
Step 1 - Commit Your organisation commences the journey towards acceptance by committing to learn more about autism through our training programme.
Step 2 - Understand Training your workforce is under way. Colleagues' understanding of autism has commenced.
Step 3 - Accept Your organisation has participated in autism training, has implemented change and autism acceptance is embedded in to your culture. Each step of the accreditation programme can be celebrated on your company website, email signatures and social media as they illustrate your commitment to achieving autism acceptance.
To be awarded the final accreditation you conclude with a self-assessment evidencing your commitment; a simple form that you send to us. Assuming you then meet the criteria, look out for an email welcoming you to our network. At this stage you can proudly display the Autism Acceptance Accreditation logo to celebrate your organisation's status.
